Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Pi-squared Consulting. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, software, and network connectivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to user inquiries and provide technical support via phone, email, or in-person
  • Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions
  • Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties
  • Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts
  • Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties
  • Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a technical support role
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Knowledge of MAC, networking hardware, desktop applications, file management software, multimedia software, word processing software, presentation software, MS Office, MS Windows, and spreadsheet software
