Job Title: Director of Market Intelligence

At Daiichi Sankyo, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Market Intelligence to lead our Market Access and Pricing efforts in Canada.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive market access and pricing strategy for our oncology portfolio in Canada. This will involve working closely with our global and local teams to ensure alignment on regulatory strategies and timelines for new product launches.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in access and pricing and product launches in Oncology, preferably in Solid Tumours. They will also have excellent leadership qualities, with the ability to attract and manage talent, lead cross-functional collaboration, and drive business results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and articulate the strategic long-term vision of Daiichi Sankyo brands, maintaining a long-term focus and identifying market changes and new growth opportunities.
  • Drive the Oncology strategic Access and Pricing plan, demonstrating excellent market analysis and working closely with global and local teams.
  • Implement local strategy for new products from our pipeline, building and maintaining relationships internally and externally.
  • Collaborate with global and local regulatory teams to ensure alignment on regulatory strategies and timelines for new product launches.
  • Develop a tactical customer-centric stakeholder engagement plan for Canada, providing internal and external support as required.
  • Develop the team, lead allocation and deployment of resources, drive talent development and performance management, and oversee recruitment.
  • Role model Daiichi Sankyo values and behaviours, complying with internal policies.

Requirements:

  • Completed medical, scientific, or economic studies or additional training in the field of health economics/politics or similar.
  • Fluency in English, oral and written communication.
  • Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to attract and manage talent, lead cross-functional collaboration, and drive business results.
  • Strong insight and data-driven analytical thinking.
  • Proactive entrepreneurial qualities and an international, open-minded, and solution-oriented attitude.
  • Aptitude in building networks and managing relationships with stakeholders (internal & external) by influencing, gaining consensus, and overcoming resistance.
