At JMS Security Ltd., we are seeking a skilled Financial Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, maintaining financial records, and establishing and balancing various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. Additionally, the Financial Administrator will be responsible for maintaining general ledgers and financial statements, posting journal entries, and preparing tax returns. The role also involves supporting newcomers and refugees with their immediate settlement needs, including housing, transportation, and childcare. Furthermore, the Financial Administrator will provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth and develop relationships with indigenous communities and organizations. The ideal candidate will have a college diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting. The work language is English, and the work term is permanent with 40 hours per week.
