Senior Technology Strategist

The Senior Technology Strategist will play a pivotal role in driving the technological direction of T-Net British Columbia, ensuring that our engineering and development initiatives align with the company's vision.

About the Role:

  • Oversee the preparation and final approval of project plans, guaranteeing their alignment with organizational goals.
  • Conduct thorough cost analyses for development projects and prepare or delegate preparation of project completion schedules.
  • Ensure that projects are completed within budget and in an economical manner, fostering a culture of efficiency.
  • Establish and implement the strategic direction of the company's engineering and development initiatives, leveraging expertise to drive innovation.
  • Collaborate with the company's executive leadership to develop and meet organizational objectives while providing guidance on projects, operations, and systems.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement new technologies and systems to enhance organizational processes and decision-making.
  • Ensure that departmental decisions such as staffing, development, organization, hardware acquisitions, and facilities are aligned with the organization's business plan and vision.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and strategically necessary for the business's success.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required; MBA is preferred.
  • At least ten years of related experience is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Extensive knowledge of engineering principles and procedures is necessary.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are expected.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills are necessary.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software is required.

Compensation and Benefits:

T-Net British Columbia offers a competitive salary range of $250,000 - $300,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
