About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Injection Moulding Machine Lead Operator to join our team at 600956 Ontario Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of our injection moulding machines and ensuring the highest quality products are produced.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and Maintain Equipment: Identify and resolve issues with injection moulding machines to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and inspect the quality of materials produced to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient production and minimize waste.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train production staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with the production team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in injection moulding.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Certifications: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
