About the Role

As a key member of the Finance Department at SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA, you will play a crucial role in delivering accurate and timely liquidity reporting. This position focuses on delivering high-quality financial data, ensuring data accuracy, and collaborating with offshore teams to drive process improvements.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct periodic reviews of data completeness and accuracy, performing first-level checks with offshore teams and second-level validations against other reporting streams (e.g., accounting).
  • Process manual adjustments to correct data quality issues and escalate anomalies, breaches, or limit exceptions promptly.
  • Oversee and review first-level controls performed by offshore support teams in India.
  • Address data quality and system feed issues, manage manual adjustments, and liaise with system projects to implement data enhancements.
  • Assist with regulatory reviews, internal audits, and ensure compliance with BCBS 239 data validation requirements.
  • Document procedures, participate in system automation projects, user acceptance testing (UAT), and develop interim solutions (e.g., Excel macros) to stabilize and streamline reporting.
Requirements:
  • Strong accounting and finance background and experience in Liquidity reporting.
  • Product knowledge in Banking and Broker Dealers - derivatives, loans, funding vehicles, currencies, fixed income, equity securities, and commodities.
  • Experience in regulatory reporting in liquidity risk management.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Strong Excel skills.
