About the Role

In this challenging role, you will be part of the Credit Portfolio Management Group, working under the supervision of a Director - Senior Credit Analyst.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare comprehensive credit analyses, reviewing legal documentation, and ongoing portfolio monitoring under the supervision of the Senior Credit Analyst.

  2. Develop high-quality credit applications and annual reviews of corporate counterparties to assess their credit quality, recommending suitable credit limits, terms, and conditions.

  3. Collaborate with other CPM teams in the US, Europe, Asia, business lines, Bankers, legal & compliance, operations, and Risk department.

Requirements
  • Strong financial analytical skills, including financial statements analysis (P&L, BS, and CF), and a review of the client's strategy, business risk, industry dynamics, and competitive environment.

  • Ability to assess credit terms and conditions, including financial covenants, security, and collateral.

  • Strong understanding of commercial and investment banking products, as well as the accounting, legal, and regulatory issues governing relevant sectors.

  • Ability to work in a team and interact with teams located in other locations (US, India, Europe).

  • Strong writing skills, particularly in assessing and summarizing financial transactions (credit requests, covenant waivers, etc.).

  • Experience preparing financial projections under various scenarios and proficiency in Word for written analysis and Excel for spreadsheet analysis.

  • 8-10 years as a credit analyst in a corporate and investment banking entity or related field, and a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.

This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Candidates will be required to submit to an enhanced background screening, including the collection of fingerprints by a third-party vendor selected by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
