Financial Accountant

In this role at PROARK CORPORATION, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts. Your strong analytical skills and attention to detail will ensure the accuracy of our financial statements and general ledgers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger
- Payroll Processing: Prepare and process payroll cheques, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Requirements:
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
Computer and Technology Skills:
- MS Access: Proficient in MS Access and able to utilize its features to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- MS Excel: Skilled in MS Excel and able to utilize its features to prepare financial reports and analysis
Work Environment:
- Work Term: Permanent
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 35 hours per week
