We are seeking a highly skilled Head Baker to join our team at Mountain House Bakery & Cake Art. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the baking and preparation of pastries, cakes, and other sweet treats.
Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a bakery or similar environment, with a proven track record of consistently producing high-quality products. You will be expected to lead by example, mentoring and training junior staff members to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Preparing dough and batters according to recipes or special customer orders
- Baking mixed dough and batters to perfection
- Training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Supervising baking personnel and kitchen staff
- Frosting and decorating cakes and baked goods
- Ensuring that the quality of products meets established standards
In addition to your technical skills, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
