About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic to join our team at Olymel. As an Industrial Mechanic, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain industrial machinery and equipment
- Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
- Repair or replace defective machinery parts
- Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
Requirements:
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- Experience an asset
- Ability to work at heights, in noisy environments, and with confined spaces
- Ability to lift heavy loads and work in physically demanding environments
