Prowse Chowne LLP is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts. You will also be responsible for maintaining general ledgers and financial statements, as well as preparing tax returns and trial balances. Additionally, you will be responsible for performing basic bookkeeping tasks, calculating billing charges, and authorizing payments by cheque. You will also be responsible for processing claims such as health insurance or workers compensation, and compiling data to prepare documents. You will work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve goals. You will have excellent oral and written communication skills, and be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. You will also have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent time management skills. Requirements:
