Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Asset Development team at Winnipeg Incorporated. As Director of Asset Development, you will be responsible for developing and executing long-term strategies for managing our assets, ensuring alignment with community and organizational needs.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the growth and development of our organization. The successful candidate will have a strong background in operations or facilities management, with experience in financial management, budgeting, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement asset management strategies, including capital plans, infrastructure upgrades, and deferred maintenance projects.
  • Manage all phases of construction and design projects, from planning to operational handover.
  • Provide strategic insights and regular reports on asset management to support organizational goals.
  • Address operational issues in building management and maintain consistent standards through audits and contractor engagement.
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in engineering, architecture, business management, or project management.
  • Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent certifications in asset management.
  • 10 years' progressive advancement in operations or facilities management.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and generous vacation entitlement.
