Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled RAN Engineer to join our team at High Tech Genesis Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring solutions meet all criteria specified in test plans, providing SME support for testing teams, and engaging with vendors to resolve complex issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure solutions meet all criteria specified in test plans
- Provide SME support for testing teams to deploy, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues with installed RF and O-RAN test systems for RAN equipment
- Engage and escalate issues with vendors when equipment or software isn't performing as expected
- Coordinate and implement proposed changes and software upgrades
- Maintain updated technical specifications of lab and external systems managed by the lab team
- Deep dive into lab networks to identify issues and provide suggestions for improvement
- Monitor E2E applications
Required Skills and Experience:
- Hands-on experience with integration
- vRAN/Open-RAN knowledge
- Transport IP planning
- CIQs
- Preferred NEP knowledge: Samsung or Mavenir
- Knowledge of Linux and K8s
- EMS and UMS configuration experience
- Experience in monitoring alarms
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a technical degree, or an equivalent combination of highly related experience and education.
Soft Skills:
- Ability to analyze problems and customer handling
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and presentation skills
- Aptitude for creativity and innovation
