Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Second Cup. As a key member of our café team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and prepare food order summaries for the chef.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and establish work schedules.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Language: English.
