About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Drafting Technician to join our team at FU ASSOCIATES LTD. as an Engineering Design Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed engineering designs and drawings, working closely with our engineering team to bring projects to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Drafting: Prepare detailed engineering designs and drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Technical Documentation: Develop and prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation packages, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, production specialists, and clients to establish product requirements, assign and coordinate projects, and review programs.
  • Quality Control: Examine drawings for conformity and errors, ensuring high-quality output.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with team members, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding of project requirements and progress.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent in a related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Skills: Proficiency in CAD software, excellent technical writing and communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
