Job Title: Ironworker - Reinforcing Rebar

HM Royal Steel Ltd is seeking a skilled Ironworker - Reinforcing Rebar to join our team. As an Ironworker - Reinforcing Rebar, you will be responsible for reinforcing concrete structures with steel bars or metal mesh.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Signal crane operators to position units according to blueprints
  • Inspect or test structures and equipment for deterioration, defects or failure to comply with specifications or regulations
  • Position and secure steel bars or metal mesh in concrete forms to reinforce concrete structures
  • Unload and position steel units so each piece can be hoisted as needed
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physically demanding role requiring handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
