Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team at BC Ltd. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process, and maintaining accurate records of guest information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Process group arrivals and departures, taking into account special requests and preferences.
  • Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Provide guests with information on hotel facilities and services, as well as recommendations for local attractions and activities.
  • Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures, including first aid and fire evacuation protocols.
  • Perform clerical duties, such as faxing, filing, and photocopying, as needed.
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff, providing excellent customer service at all times.
  • Assist guests with special needs, such as wheelchair accessibility and mobility assistance.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Will train on the job, with opportunities for advancement and professional growth.
  • Permanent position, 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency required.
