Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Warehouse Operative to join our team at Sehaj & Diya Holdings Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to receiving, storing, and shipping products.

Responsibilities
  • BUILDING PALLETs AND ASSOCIATED TASKS: You will be required to build pallets to ensure efficient storage and movement of products within the warehouse.
  • LOADING, UNLOADING, AND MOVING PRODUCTS: You will load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • PICKING ORDERS AND STOCK: Your attention to detail will be crucial in accurately picking orders and stock from our inventory system.
  • LABELLING AND ATTACHMENT: You will label goods and attach labels as necessary to ensure accurate tracking and identification.
  • CUSTOMER SERVICE: Providing excellent customer service is essential in this role, as you will interact with customers on a daily basis to resolve any issues or answer queries.
  • WRAping AND PACKING: You will wrap goods securely and pack them efficiently to prevent damage during transportation.
  • SORTING, CRATING, AND STACKING GOODS: Your ability to sort, crate, and stack goods safely and effectively will contribute to maintaining a well-organized warehouse.
  • INSTALLATION, LASHING, AND SECURING GOODS: In some cases, you may be required to install, lash, and secure goods to prepare them for shipment.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Physically demanding with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Large workload with varying priorities.
Weight Handling
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) regularly.
Personal Suitability
  • Energetic and proactive approach to work.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
Requirements
  • NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: We offer comprehensive training for the right candidate.
  • DURATION OF EMPLOYMENT: Permanent position.
  • LANGUAGE OF WORK: English.
  • HOURS OF WORK: 30 to 35 hours per week.
