Strategic Capital Planner and Implementation Expert

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Director, Capital Planning and Implementation to lead our multi-year capital program. This role requires strategic planning, effective governance, and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive capital planning and governance structures.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and manage capital projects.
- Lead a team of professionals in project management, coordination, and delivery.
- Ensure timely and within-budget project delivery.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including University executives, Board of Governors, and external funders.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree in commerce, business administration, finance, or risk management.
- Minimum 10 years of management experience in complex organizations with progressively increasing responsibility.
- Recognized project management credential (PMP, PRINCE2, or PMAC).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
- Strategic thinking, critical decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
