About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tobacco Packer to join our team at Tricanna Industries Inc. As a Tobacco Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient production and packaging of our tobacco products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Handling: Safely transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials throughout the facility.
  • Machine Operation: Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines, and feed flattened boxes into forming machines to construct containers.
  • Quality Control: Check products and packaging for basic quality defects and assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: The successful candidate will be able to perform repetitive tasks, have manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and be able to stand for extended periods.
  • Weight Handling: The ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) is required.
  • Personal Suitability: The ideal candidate will possess client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude.
Work Environment

As a Tobacco Packer at Tricanna Industries Inc., you will work in a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding role. Overtime may be required, and the ability to work under pressure is essential.

Language and Work Schedule

The primary language of work is English, and the work schedule is 35 to 40 hours per week.
