Production Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Junior Production Manager to join our team at JP Recruitment. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our molding department in Woodbridge, ON.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspect raw materials to ensure conformance to specifications and initiate adjustments to machines as needed.
- Maintain productivity levels and work with management to provide a safe and efficient work environment.
- Monitor quality of finished products and maintain documentation for all Quality Systems and Production methods.
- Lead and manage a team of production employees, providing training and mentorship as needed.
- Develop and recommend improvements to facilities, equipment, and procedures to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
- Review production schedules and estimate worker hours requirements for completion of job assignments.
- Interpret company policies and enforce safety regulations.
- Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules and demand.
- Manage production process and material flows.
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years in a manufacturing environment, including supervisory experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of industry and products.
