CB Canada is seeking a highly experienced and strategic VP of Information Technology to lead our IT team and drive digital transformation across the organization.
Job Summary:The VP of Information Technology will be responsible for developing and implementing IT strategies that align with our business goals and objectives. This includes leading the development and implementation of digital solutions, managing IT budgets, and overseeing the IT team.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement IT strategies that align with our business goals and objectives.
- Lead the development and implementation of digital solutions, including software development, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
- Manage IT budgets and ensure effective resource allocation.
- Oversee the IT team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and ensure IT alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies, vendors, and other organizations to remain current with their directions and seek collaboration and partnership opportunities as appropriate.
- Contribute and respond to enterprise risk management processes and initiatives.
- 20+ years of experience in IT roles with a strong software development background.
- 10+ years at a Director or above level, including developing organizational change strategies, working with an offshore team, and managing IT budgets.
- Significant IT and business expertise within broad financial services' industry, including tax preparation or software, retail or commercial banking, wealth management, professional services, including tax accounting or planning, and fintech.
- Track record of successful implementation of digital and eCommerce IT solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Have thorough knowledge of modern computer science principles, methodologies, and practices.
- Ideally possess experience in Agile, DevOps, Microsoft Azure, Project Management mindset, Business Relationship Management, ITIL, and IT Service Management.
- Effective interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication skills.
- Eager to lead, demonstrate, and champion Behaviors.
