Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Rental Delivery Specialist to join our team at Tennant Company. As a key member of our Service Center team, you will be responsible for delivering machines to rental customers in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), performing minor repairs, and rebuilding small cleaning equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Delivery and Maintenance
    • Deliver machines to rental customers in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Perform minor repairs and rebuild small cleaning equipment as needed.
  • Shop Operations
    • Responsible for cleaning incoming and outbound machines and preparing them for reconditioning.
    • Perform inspections of various shop equipment as required.
    • Maintain shop supply inventory levels and order additional supplies as needed.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Assist customers with equipment-related issues and provide solutions.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work collaboratively with the Service Center team to achieve goals and objectives.
    • Assist mechanics and other team members as needed.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Minimum of two years' work experience in a related field.
  • Skills and Competencies
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Good communication and customer service skills.
    • Basic understanding of computer systems and software.
    • Ability to lift 60 pounds and wear required PPE.
  • Physical Requirements
    • Must be able to sit, stand, bend, twist, reach, push, and pull.
    • Must be medically capable of performing all aspects of the job with maximum safety.
