Job Summary:

The Radiology Team Lead will oversee the daily operations of the assigned section, ensuring the efficient delivery of radiological services to patients. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as a thorough understanding of radiology protocols and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of support staff to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient use of resources.
  • Direct quality assurance and quality control efforts to maintain high standards of patient care and safety.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote a positive and productive work environment.
  • Collaborate with radiology director, manager, and other lead technologists to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in radiology and ensure that all equipment and technology is properly maintained and utilized.
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation and certification standards, overseeing all aspects of the assigned area.
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Counsel and support staff to address performance issues and promote a positive work environment.

Requirements:

  • ARRT Certification
  • Current certification with State of Florida Radiation Control (HRS)
  • CPR certification
