Culinary Operations Supervisor

Pure Kitchen Kanata is seeking a highly skilled Culinary Operations Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our culinary services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient kitchen procedures to meet work schedules.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring that food is prepared and portioned to the highest standards.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and compliance.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns, providing exceptional service and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, informing management of trends and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Permanent employment with 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.

  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
