Pure Kitchen Kanata is seeking a highly skilled Culinary Operations Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our culinary services.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient kitchen procedures to meet work schedules.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring that food is prepared and portioned to the highest standards.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and compliance.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Address customer complaints and concerns, providing exceptional service and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, informing management of trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Permanent employment with 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Fluency in English.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
