Job Title: Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our team at MY BOX (CANADA) TRADING LTD.

Job Summary:

The Store Manager will be responsible for the overall management of our retail store, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and Control Daily Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Evaluate Daily Operations: Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Develop and implement plans to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Manage Staff and Assign Duties: Supervise and train staff, assigning tasks and responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation of the store.
  • Study Market Research and Trends: Stay up-to-date with market research and trends to determine consumer demand and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Determine Merchandise and Services: Select and procure merchandise and services to be sold in the store, ensuring that they meet customer needs and preferences.
  • Implement Price and Credits Policies: Develop and implement pricing and credits policies to ensure that customers are satisfied with their purchases.
  • Locate, Select, and Procure Merchandise: Source and purchase merchandise and services to be sold in the store, ensuring that they meet quality and price standards.
  • Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Create and implement marketing plans to attract and retain customers.
  • Plan Budgets and Monitor Revenues and Expenses: Develop and manage budgets, monitoring revenues and expenses to ensure that the store operates within financial targets.
  • Determine Staffing Requirements: Assess staffing needs and make recommendations to ensure that the store is adequately staffed.
  • Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Recruit, Hire, and Supervise Staff: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff, ensuring that they are trained and equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Oversee Payroll Administration: Manage payroll administration, ensuring that staff are paid accurately and on time.
  • Conduct Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to assess staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Setting: Urban area, Retail business.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Electronic scheduler, Inventory control software, Electronic mail, Spreadsheet, Adobe Acrobat Reader, MS Outlook.
  • Security and Safety: Bondable.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, Sitting, Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
