We are seeking a skilled Procurement Officer to join our team at Matharu Construction Ltd. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for purchasing general and specialized equipment, materials, and business services. Your expertise will be essential in assessing the requirements of our establishments to develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased. You will negotiate offers from suppliers, consult with them, review quotations, determine contract terms and conditions, and award contracts to appropriate parties. Your strong organizational skills and attention to detail will ensure that delivery schedules are met, and progress is monitored. You will also be responsible for contacting clients and suppliers to resolve any problems that may arise. This is a permanent position, and you will work 30 to 44 hours per week. You will have the opportunity to work with a team of 5-10 people and will be required to have a valid driver's license. If you have experience in procurement or a related field, it would be an asset.
