Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director of Healthcare Partnerships to join our team. As a key member of our Strategic Stakeholder Engagement group, you will be responsible for managing the overarching stakeholder engagement strategy for our clients. You will work closely with our clients to develop mutually beneficial partnerships and bring organizational excellence and recognition to their company and team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary subject matter expert and point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
  • Serve as the champion of Strategic Stakeholder Engagement across all levels of the organization, generating excitement and advocacy for the craft through ongoing networking and cross-collaboration with CST leadership.
  • Develop strategic, well-informed, and insightful external stakeholder engagement plans.
  • Support client stakeholder engagement strategies by continually assessing collaborations with key external stakeholders and driving cohesive and transparent interactions and collaboration outcomes.
  • Ensure positive client experiences and provide thought leadership to advance client stakeholder strategies with a forward-thinking mindset.
  • Oversee project briefs, including necessary subject matter expert input and staffing ratios.
  • Ensure high-quality project delivery, leveraging a deep understanding of the client's internal ecosystem.
  • Drive the continuous growth and evolution of the agency's Strategic Stakeholder Engagement craft, processes, products, and tools to enhance efficiency, quality, and consistency across the organization.
  • Collaborate strategically with cross-functional teams to optimize growth and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Lead new business pitches as the subject matter expert for SSE.
  • Build, develop, and identify opportunities for SSE direct reports.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to support client mid- and long-term business objectives.
  • Mentor direct reports in creating and sustaining effective stakeholder partnerships.
  • Ensure financial stewardship of client budgets.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Knowledge and Expertise:
  • Experience working in a communications agency or health communications function (preferred).
  • Knowledge and experience working across multiple disease states (desirable).
  • Knowledge and experience of brand-related communications and strategy.
  • Experience in stakeholder management or client service (essential).
  • Knowledge and experience creating and sustaining effective stakeholder/industry partnerships in healthcare.
  • Excellence in writing, developing, and implementing strategic stakeholder engagement plans or other strategic business plans (preferred).
  • Ability to activate professional networks and evaluate new business opportunities in collaboration with SSE growth partners.
  • Excellence in organizational and time management skills.
  • Extensive business acumen in healthcare, pharmaceutical industry, competitors, and macro-environment drivers.
  • Exceptional client service mindset, both in delivery and solutions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills, demonstrating ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Salary Range:

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
