Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Logistics Manager to join our team at Octo Mechanical Inc.

Job Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations
  • Monitor the movement of supplies and materials between departments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Prepare and submit reports on supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work to minimize downtime and optimize production
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs to track progress and efficiency
  • Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to optimize inventory management and reduce waste
  • Coordinate traffic flow of supplies to meet production demands
  • Consult with production supervisors to schedule production runs in a cost and time-efficient manner
  • Prepare and maintain progress reports, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders
  • Demonstrate knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices
  • Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient supply chain operations
Requirements
  • High school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in supply chain logistics or a related field
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Familiarity with MS Excel, Word, and Windows
