Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to join our team at FOUR WINDS MOTEL INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our HR department, ensuring the smooth operation of our workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events to support employee development and engagement.
  • Assist with staff consultation and grievance procedures to maintain a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences to ensure accurate documentation.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments to ensure timely and efficient communication.
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages to provide excellent customer service.
  • Oversee the analysis of employee data and information to inform HR decisions.
  • Compile data, statistics, and other information to support HR initiatives.
  • Support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition and provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers and provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees.

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.

Work Environment:

  • 35 hours per week.
  • English language.
