Salary
The annual salary range for this position is estimated to be between $75,000 and $110,000 based on the location in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, and the rate of pay mentioned in the ONA Collective Agreement.
Job Description
We are seeking a Clinical Scholar to join our team. The successful candidate will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide clinical training and mentorship to newly graduated nurses, IENs, nurses in supervised practice status, and nurses looking to upskill.
The Clinical Scholar will create an environment that supports educational activities, enhances knowledge transfer, and promotes continuous quality improvement in clinical practice.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Certification in telemetry training required
- Certification in Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred
- Certification in Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA) an asset
- Certification in Non-Violent Crisis Prevention & Intervention (CPI) an asset
- Completion of 12 lead ECG and cardiac rhythm interpretation certification required
