Job Title: Food Service Team Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Team Lead to join our team at Mary Brown's Chicken. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.

  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock levels.

  • Ensure that all food and beverages meet quality control standards and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.

  • Maintain accurate records of sales, repairs, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.

  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and expectations.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced food service environment, preferably in a supervisory role.

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods and working under pressure.

  • Familiarity with inventory management and record-keeping procedures.

Working Conditions:

  • Fast-paced environment with frequent customer interactions.

  • Standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks associated with food preparation and service.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
