In this role, you will play a key part in leading safety engineering and assessment services for rail engineering signalling projects. Your expertise will contribute to the enhancement of safety protocols, risk assessment methodologies, and project quality.

This role offers the opportunity to further your technical knowledge in rail safety, mentor junior consultants, and exhibit leadership qualities in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading complex rail safety assessment services for engineering projects, applying methods and tools aligned with key standards.
  • Collaborating with clients to understand their objectives and desired outcomes for each project.
  • Contributing to a diverse range of exciting projects, including safety assurance management and safety approvals for major infrastructure projects.
  • Leading in safety assurance for new rail products, including ETCS/ERTMS, high-speed points systems, axle counters, and other signalling systems.

Requirements:

  • Experience in delivering safety assessment and assurance services to rail projects, utilising methods and tools aligned with standards.
  • Background in risk management, systems engineering, and/or safety engineering.
  • Prior experience in major rail infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
