Job Title: Childcare Support Professional

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Childcare Support Professional to join our team at Calaunan Family. As a Key member of our childcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality childcare to children in a home-based setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide childcare to children in a home-based setting, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and supervising children.
  • Assume full responsibility for household chores in the absence of parents, including light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals to children.
  • Transport children to and from school and to appointments.
  • Establish a safe and healthy environment in the home, including maintaining a non-smoking and scent-free environment.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and ironing.
  • Shop for food and household supplies.
  • Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
  • Follow parents' lead with toilet training and discipline children according to the methods requested by parents.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
  • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
  • Organize activities for children, including games and outings.
  • Supervise and care for children, including multi-aged groups.


Requirements:

  • A valid CPR certificate.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Previous experience in childcare.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
