About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Centre Technical Specialist to join our team at Accusonic Corporation. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data centre and providing top-notch technical support to our users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software to maintain the integrity and efficiency of our systems
  • Provide timely and effective problem-solving services to network users, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance
  • Implement robust security procedures to safeguard our data and systems from potential threats
  • Perform routine network start-up and close-down procedures, maintaining accurate control records along the way
  • Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration
  • Execute Web-server backup and recovery operations to prevent data loss and ensure business continuity
Requirements
  • College diploma or certificate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (1-2 years)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in computer hardware, networking, and operating systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina, with the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with excellent client focus and teamwork skills
