We offer a casual position for an Administrative Assistant to provide support in various areas as needed, coordinate internal/external communication, and perform other office duties.



Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing correspondence, reports, and documents as requested;
  • Handling incoming phone calls, mail, and couriers, and maintaining mailing lists and databases;
  • Coordinating appointments and meetings;
  • Providing ongoing support to external business associates and clients as directed, including maintaining confidential business files;
  • Assisting with the writing and editing of contractual agreements and Requests for Proposals;
  • Transcribing and distributing meeting minutes;
  • Assisting in the development of materials for presentations to current and potential clients;
  • Providing coverage for other administrative positions as required;
  • Participating in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities;
  • Adhering to Bayshore policies and procedures;
  • Participating in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company's Quality Management System;
  • Participating in proactive Health & Safety activities while performing all duties;
  • Maintaining confidentiality of client and corporate information.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of two years' experience as an Administrative Assistant;
  • Exceptional customer relations and teamwork skills;
  • Proficiency in Windows applications, database management, e-mail, and the internet;
  • Administrative or executive-level writing skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, handle multiple tasks, and work independently and as a team member;
  • Strong commitment to continual learning;
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, as well as French in Branch Offices that provide service to French-speaking clients.

Benefits

Bayshore HealthCare offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
