Swift Mechanical Services Inc. is seeking a skilled Insulation Specialist to join our team. As an Insulation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the thermal performance of buildings by selecting and applying the correct insulation materials. Your tasks will include measuring and cutting insulation materials to required dimensions, applying and securing insulation using various methods, and fitting insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs. You will also be responsible for installing vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials, fabricating and applying removable insulation pads and covers, and assembling, erecting, and dismantling scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment. Additionally, you will read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation. If you have a secondary school graduation certificate and 1-2 years of experience in a related field, we encourage you to apply. Work hours are 40 hours per week, and the work language is English.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Select type of insulation required
* Measure and cut insulating materials to required shape and dimensions
* Apply and secure insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping, and other application and installation methods
* Fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs
* Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials
* Fabricate and apply removable insulation pads and covers
* Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment
* Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications

**Requirements:**

* Secondary school graduation certificate
* 1-2 years of experience in a related field
* English language proficiency

**Work Environment:**

* 40 hours per week
* Permanent position
