Cloud Networking Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Networking Support Specialist to join our team at Intello Technologies Inc. This role will provide excellent technical customer service support for Google Cloud Platform products and solutions, including networking and related services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resolve client technical issues related to cloud networking
  • Help companies create and deploy applications and programs on the cloud
  • Advise on the best solutions to meet client objectives
  • Develop and improve cloud infrastructure and platforms
  • Provide training and support to clients
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of Linux system administration and Windows server administration
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including NAT, DNS, firewalls, routing, load balancing, etc.
  • Strong understanding of network troubleshooting tools, including ping, netstat, traceroute, dig, route, and TCPDump
  • TCP/IP protocol knowledge and ability to use it for troubleshooting reachability, latency, and throughput issues
  • Familiarity with Linux performance troubleshooting and common Linux troubleshooting tools, such as vmstat, iostat, lsof, strace, etc.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive troubleshooting tactics
  • Ability to quickly learn and explain new complex technologies and subjects
  • Understanding and ability to identify issues from reading product logs, including VPN and Load Balancer
  • Resourcefulness and strong research skills
  • Proficient in Oral and Written English language to interact with the customer base
  • Punctuality
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in French speaking and writing is an asset
  • College diploma in Computer Science or 2 years of equivalent experience
  • Familiarity with VPN and Virtual Private Clouds
  • Experience with virtual machines, including Google Compute Engine, VMware, and Amazon EC2
  • Experience with automation scripting
  • Familiarity with web and mail protocols, including TLS and SMTP
  • Familiarity with modern API technologies, including OAuth and RPCs
