About the Work Environment

We offer a flexible and hybrid work environment. In this role you will work a combination of in-office and remotely from home. Typically, you'll be working regular business hours, Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 4:30pm with flexibility around start/end times.

We are hiring for this position out of our Toronto and Vancouver offices. Successful candidates who apply outside of these areas will be expected to relocate and reside in a location that is within a commutable distance.

About the Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in delivery or project management, with a focus on regulatory projects in the Canadian banking sector.
  • Working knowledge of Canadian banking regulations, including OSFI, FCAC, and/or CDIC guidelines.
  • Proven experience managing teams of project managers and business analysts.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Experience managing large-scale portfolios with multiple regulatory projects.
  • Proficiency in waterfall and agile project management methodologies and tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and tools to track portfolio progress.
About the Job

In this role, you will lead and oversee the delivery of a portfolio of regulatory compliance projects in the Canadian banking sector. You will ensure that all projects within the portfolio are aligned with regulatory requirements and business goals, while following governance from the Enterprise PMO.

You will work with Project Managers to define portfolio scope, objectives, and success metrics, ensuring continuous monitoring and reporting on project progress and regulatory adherence.

You will report on the regulatory portfolio as needed by the Enterprise PMO. You will prioritize projects within the portfolio based on business needs and regulatory deadlines.

You will manage, coach, and develop a team of project managers and business analysts responsible for executing the projects in the regulatory portfolio.

You will conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and foster career growth opportunities for team members.

You will ensure that project managers and business analysts adhere to best practices in project management, business analysis, and regulatory compliance.

You will create a collaborative and high-performing team culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.

Annual Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is estimated to be between $120,000 and $135,000 per year, depending on the knowledge, skills, abilities and experience that the chosen candidate possesses.
