Generalist Human Resources Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Generalist Human Resources Technician to join our dynamic team at iA Financial Group.

As a Generalist Human Resources Technician, you will be responsible for providing personalized support to our employees, retirees, and partners in administrative procedures related to life events. You will analyze, validate, and respond to various employee or manager requests related to the human resources department, primarily for US and partially for Canadian employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to employees, retirees, and partners.
  • Analyze and respond to employee or manager requests related to human resources.
  • Perform work in compliance with regulations and policy.
  • Simplify explanations about company payroll, compensation, and benefits.
  • Manage dissatisfaction and actively seek solutions while respecting work policies.
  • Support different teams and HR policies.
  • Be willing to question oneself to influence the quality of work and contribution to the team.
  • Show curiosity to use artificial intelligence to bring operational efficiency gains.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years' work experience in Human Resources with a strong focus on excellent customer service.
  • Attention to quality and initiative.
  • Knowledge of Workday software (an asset).
  • High level of French both spoken and written.
  • Experience with both Canadian and US companies (an asset).
