Oncology Nursing Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at BC Cancer. As an Oncology Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals with cancer. Your expertise will be essential in assessing, planning, and implementing individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, treatment, and education.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Administer medications, injections, and other treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor patient reactions to treatment and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Document patient information and health care history.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as an RN with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Current CPR (Level C) certification.
  • One (1) year of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
