About This Role

Black & McDonald Limited is seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to join our Southern Ontario FMO team. As an analytical and collaborative professional, you will play a key role in building a solid foundation for your career in facilities management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the overall administrative direction for one large or several smaller facilities management projects.
  • Manage costs, schedule, and project status while maintaining excellent relations with employees, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
  • Plan project execution in accordance with Corporate Policy.
  • Prepare contracts, progress reports, and assist in the purchase of supplies and materials.
  • Document control, equipment management, office management, scheduling, and change management.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • University or college degree in construction engineering technology, mechanical engineering technology, project management, and/or skilled trade accreditation.
  • PMP Designation is considered an asset.
  • 1-2 years' experience in operations or facilities management industries.

Skills and Abilities

  • Effective and efficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • Planning, scheduling, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of construction industry.
  • Basic blueprint reading.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work in a multi-tasked, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
  • Own vehicle/full G driver's license.
