Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Hire and Manage Staff: Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that we have a skilled and motivated team.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Budgeting and Cost Estimation: Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within our means.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that we have accurate and up-to-date information.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant.
  • Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
Work Environment:

Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with standing for extended periods.

Language:

English.

Hours of Work:

35 to 44 hours per week.
