Job Summary

S. K Transportation Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Engine Specialist to join our team.

About the Job

This is a permanent full-time position requiring a high school graduation certificate and at least 2 years of experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, ensuring timely and efficient repair work.
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment, determining the extent of repair required.
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, adhering to manufacturers' specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance reports and documentation.
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance, verifying that work meets manufacturers' standards.
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal engine performance.
  • Perform repair work on heavy trucks, including service attachments and working tools.
  • Verify and repair emission control systems, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • The role involves physically demanding work, requiring attention to detail, manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and standing for extended periods.
  • Normal working hours are 40 per week, with a permanent term.
  • English language proficiency is required for effective communication and collaboration.
