Engineering Leadership Opportunity at Adamson Systems Engineering

We are seeking an exceptional engineering leader to join our team at Adamson Systems Engineering. As a globally acclaimed industry leader, we have a rich history of innovation and excellence in engineering and technology.

Our company develops and manufactures a diverse range of complex products, including network switches, gateways, signal processors, and power electronic devices. We are looking for a leader who can foster a culture of excellence, drive innovation, and ensure the successful delivery of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead multiple engineering teams and disciplines, including electronics, mechanical, electrical, software, and manufacturing
  • Develop and implement a product roadmap in collaboration with product managers
  • Oversee the full product development cycle from concept to launch, utilizing a stage-gate product development strategy
  • Encourage a cross-functional mindset between disciplines and foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Implement and control development and operational budgets, driving design for manufacturability and intellectual property development
  • Represent engineering across the company in key initiatives, ensuring delivery and excellence
Requirements
  • Recognized MBA with a B.Eng. or BSE in a relevant engineering field
  • 7+ years of experience building and managing high-performing engineering teams
  • 10+ years of suitable work experience, including exposure to product development for discrete manufacturing
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills, with an entrepreneurial spirit and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Strong organizational skills, including budgeting, financial administration, and research of tax credits and subsidies
