Job Overview

We seek a dynamic and innovative scholar with a demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching, whose research and teaching interests complement and enhance our existing departmental strengths in school and clinical child psychology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and conduct intervention research with children, youth, and/or families on topics such as clinical trials, community-based interventions, prevention programs, school-based intervention or prevention programs, educational interventions, and psychotherapeutic approaches.
  • Explore neurodiversity and child development through innovative research methods.
  • Develop technology-based assessment or intervention tools for children, youth, and/or families using digital therapy, virtual assessment or therapy tools, assessment or therapy apps, and AI-assisted assessment or intervention.
Requirements
  • A PhD or equivalent doctoral degree in Child Clinical and/or School Psychology from a CPA or APA accredited program by the time of appointment or shortly thereafter.
  • Registration with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario.
  • Evidence of research excellence through publications in top-ranked and field-relevant journals, presentations at significant conferences, awards, and strong endorsements from referees.
  • Evidence of excellence in teaching through teaching accomplishments, a teaching dossier, and strong letters of reference.
Estimated Salary

$85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
