Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

This role requires a highly skilled Project Engineer who will be responsible for the administrative and technical aspects of constructing a project. The successful candidate will manage a team of field and cost engineers, oversee scheduling, revenue, cost, and cash flow management, and ensure timely completion of projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduling of the project
  • Manage revenue, cost, and cash flow
  • Coordinate temporary engineering efforts
  • Oversee permanent design management and quality control
  • Ensure project closeout
  • Foster strong client relationships
  • Assist in operations planning
  • Administer contracts and subcontracts

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must have:

  • An undergraduate degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • A minimum of 5 years' work experience in construction or engineering
  • Proven experience managing engineers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for safety and quality
