Job Overview

As a Senior Financial Analyst at Genus, you will have the opportunity to partner with the ABS Global Supply Chain leadership team and support their strategic initiatives. This role is located in our Deforest office, offering a hybrid work arrangement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing financial insights, analyzing capital investments, and identifying risks and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide business partnering and leadership to support strategic initiatives, including financial analysis and forecasting.
  • Analyze capital investments to ensure accuracy, cost efficiency, and cash flow forecasting.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to participate in projects and supplemental analysis to support overall supply chain objectives.
  • Identify and communicate risks and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Accounting Controls

Maintain accounting controls to ensure the integrity of financial reporting and protect company assets. Key responsibilities include inventory management, capital asset protection, and control process implementation.

  • Recommend and implement control processes to manage company assets.
  • Review and establish standard cost of inventory and production variances.
  • Ensure inventory is sufficiently provisioned.
Reporting and Analysis

Provide timely, accurate, and useful information to management through financial and operational review and reporting. Key responsibilities include:

  • Completing financial and operational reviews within specified deadlines and minimal supervision.
  • Working directly with the Global Supply Chain management team and Country specific accounting teams to prepare and analyze budgets and quarterly forecasts.
  • Leading and coordinating the completion of quarterly forecasts, annual budget, and Strategy Planning.
  • Participating in Monthly Business Reviews, Quarterly Forecasts, and Annual Budget reviews.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or MBA, CPA preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of Financial Planning & Analysis experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Cognos TM1, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics a plus.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Ability to work as a lead member of a team; thorough understanding of accounting theory and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proven experience related to data collection, assimilation, and presentation used to evaluate and explain business models.
  • Business partner to supporting functional areas.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year

This salary range is based on national averages and may vary depending on location, experience, and qualifications. Benefits include health, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, long and short-term disability, 401K, tuition reimbursement, paid holidays, and ETO (employee time off).
