Job Description:
At the Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services, we are dedicated to providing specialized care for Texans in need. As a Psychiatric Nursing Assistant II, you will play a vital role in our team, providing quality psychiatric nursing care in an inpatient setting.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering patient-centered care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to promote the health and well-being of our patients. You will be responsible for providing emergency, health, and personal care services to patients, observing and reporting patient conditions and behaviors, and participating in individualized and unit-based programming.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide patient care services under the clinical supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN)
Observe and report patient conditions and behaviors

Requirements:
Completion of a training program for Psychiatric Nursing Assistants
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to provide patient-centered care
