Cable Television Service Installation Technician

At GOLDEN SECURITY & HOME AUTOMATION LTD, we are seeking a skilled Cable Television Service Installation Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing cable television systems, ensuring seamless connectivity for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and configure cable television equipment, including cable modems and software
  • Repair and maintain cable signals, ensuring optimal performance
  • Inspect and test telecommunications equipment to identify and resolve issues
  • Install, arrange, remove, and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware
  • Complete and maintain accurate test and service reports
  • Determine the nature, cause, and location of trouble in cable television systems
  • Provide training and guidance to apprentices
  • Connect, disconnect, and relocate cable outlets
  • Maintain and repair aerial and underground transmission systems
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in telecommunications or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to lift and move equipment
